Hey Wards Corner! Thank you to all of our great neighbors who came out for our big neighborhood picnic on Sunday, July 28th. It was really nice to see all of you there and meet some new faces. I had a great time and hope that you did too!
Special thanks to Harris Teeter and Farm Fresh for donating most of the food, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for loaning tables and chairs, and to the volunteers that assisted – especially Sue, Liz, and Sherry – for all of your invaluable help. We look forward to seeing all of you, plus some more of our friendly neighbors, at next year’s picnic. And hopefully at some other neighborhood events and meetings in-between.
