At the request of members of the Wards Corner Civic League, the City of Norfolk’s Department of Recreation, Parks and Open Space has installed gates at the two existing entrances to the North Shore park. Additionally a third entrance and gate was installed near the intersection of North Shore and Millbrook Road.
Neighbors had expressed concern that young children may run out of the park and into the roadways.
