A number of local pharmacies are providing COVID-19 vaccinations in addition to the health department.
To find one near you, visit vaccinefinder.org/search and type in your zip code.
The site does not include Norfolk Department of Public Health vaccine clinics.
You can still preregister with the Virginia Department of Health by visiting Vaccinate.Virginia.gov.
Appointment notifications can take up to eight weeks. Do not forward your email appointment confirmation.
If you attempt to schedule an appointment with a link that does not belong to you,
the appointment will be cancelled by the health department.
There are currently three FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccines: Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson.
All three went through extensive clinical trials and are effective in reducing your chance of illness, hospitalization and death.
If you receive the vaccine in Virginia, you will automatically be removed from the state preregistration list.
If you receive the vaccine outside of Virginia or want to be removed from the preregistration list for any other reason,
call 1-877-VAX-IN-VA (1-877-829-4682).
