What is Grab-n-Go service?
With Grab-n-Go service, patrons may enter the lobby area to pick up holds, check out materials, apply for or renew a library card, and get help with questions. Staff will retrieve books and materials on the shelves for patrons while they wait. To ensure wait times are reasonable, staff will retrieve up to five items while you wait. If you wish to request more items you may leave a list of those items with staff and return to pick them up at another time. You can search the collection and place holds using the online catalog.
Which locations have Grab-n-Go?
Barron F. Black Branch, Jordan-Newby Anchor Branch, Mary D. Pretlow Anchor Branch, Park Place Branch, Slover Library and Van Wyck Branch are all open for Grab-n-Go. Please see our new hours to find out when your nearest branch is open. Seniors Only hours are available from 10 AM to 11 AM every Wednesday at our Anchor Branch locations and the Slover Library.
New Hours:
- Barron F. Black Branch, Tuesday and Wednesday 10 AM to 6 PM
- Jordan-Newby Anchor Branch, Tuesday through Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM
- Mary D. Pretlow Anchor Branch, Tuesday through Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM
- Park Place Branch, Thursday and Friday 10 AM to 6 PM
- Slover Library, Tuesday through Friday 11 AM to 4 PM, Saturday 12 PM to 5 PM
- Van Wyck Branch, Monday and Friday 10 AM to 6 PM
