Sharing information about a partnership between Habitat for Humanity of South Hampton Roads and the City of Norfolk that may benefit residents in our community.
Through this program, Habitat for Humanity is providing free roof replacements for eligible homeowners. All work is completed by licensed contractors, and there is no cost to the homeowner.
Eligibility Overview:
- Homeowner must be low-income and live in the home full-time.
- Priority is given to veterans, persons with disabilities, and individuals aged 50 or older.
- Homes must have asphalt shingle roofs.
- Properties located in federal flood zones are not eligible.
We appreciate your help in spreading the word to residents who may qualify. Applications are accepted year-round as funding allows.
