NBN Summer Mixer – Be sure to put Wednesday, June 18 from 5:30 to 8:00 on your calendar for this year’s NBN Summer Mixer. Neighborhood Services offers this networking opportunity for neighborhood leaders to jumpstart their creative thinking and find support from other neighborhood change agents. The mixer will feature international food, music, and stories and will recognize our civic-minded neighbors from around the globe. The cost will be $10 per person. Help Neighborhood Engagement Celebrate Norfolk‘s Diversity!
Do you know someone making a positive impact in your neighborhood who represents the rich cultural diversity of the City of Norfolk? The Neighborhood Engagement team is looking to highlight active community members from multicultural, international and diverse backgrounds during the Neighbors Building Neighborhoods(NBN) Summer Mixer.
The NBN Summer Mixer will be the perfect time to meet residents from neighborhoods around the city and discuss creative ideas, challenges, successes and learn about how they are supporting the city’s diverse population of residents.
Submissions should include a photo and a brief description of how the community member is helping to make a positive impact and build a stronger, more inclusive community. These will be featured during the NBN Summer Mixer on Jun 18.
