Spooky Season is here and the city’s Neighborhood Engagement team will be participating in two drive thru trunk or treat events on October 23rd and October 24th representing Neighborhood Services and civic leagues across the city. Grab your favorite costume and come out for a night full of thrills at our drive-thru Trunk or Treat! This family-friendly event will be fun for all ages, and include tons of sweet treats, and lots of spooky decorations. We can’t wait to see everyone there!
Treats will be individually wrapped and handed out in accordance with all CDC COVID-19 protocols. Those who plan to attend are asked to remain inside of their vehicle the entire time; no walk-ups will be permitted.

Drive Thru Halloween Experience:
Sunday, October 24, 2021 @ 4:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. and 5:00p.m. to 6:00p.m.

We’re hosting a trick-or-treat drive thru experience for IKEA Family members! The event will feature multiple tent stops along a designated route in the IKEA Norfolk parking garage, where you can collect treats from your vehicle. The City of Norfolk Department of Neighborhood Services, USO of Hampton Roads and Central Virginia, and the Norfolk Admirals will also be onsite. Costumes are encouraged, but everyone must remain in their vehicle during the drive thru. Everyone is asked to bring a $ donation to drop off with our nonprofit partner, Moms on a Mission. Moms on a Mission will be collecting deodorant, shampoo, small umbrellas, dish soap and toothbrushes/toothpaste. The items will be given to local families transitioning from shelters into permanent housing. Registration is required. Valid only at IKEA Norfolk on 10/24/21. While supplies last.
